Silicone Leveling Agent, Baking Paint Leveling Agent, Polyurethane Coating Leveling Agent, PU Leather Leveling Agent

High-temperature resistant leveling agent that effectively reduces the surface tension of the system, promotes leveling, improves substrate wetting, prevents cratering. It also enhances surface slipperiness and gloss. Compared to ordinary polyether-modified silicone oil, it has better baking resistance. Suitable for both water-based and oil-based systems. Compared to BD-3033, it offers better hand feel, slipperiness, and baking resistance.

Application Recommendations

• Recommended dosage: 0.05-1% based on total formulation

• Addition method: Can be added at any stage of the production process. For ease of addition, it can be pre-diluted with a suitable solvent.

• Solvent types: Water, alcohols, alkanes, aromatics can be diluted in any ratio.

Precautions

Recoatability should not be an issue in most systems. Although it has release and anti-stick properties, there are more optimized choices for emphasizing this function. It may cause turbidity or oil separation in systems with ester solvents. If unsuitable, please contact our application technical department. Or suggest using BD-3134 as a replacement. It may have a foam-stabilizing effect. It is recommended to consider adding a defoamer during formulation trials. Or suggest switching to BD-3033-6. Trials or tests should be conducted before industrial production.

Packaging and Storage

This product can be transported and stored as non-hazardous chemicals. Packaging: 25Kg plastic drums, or customized per customer requirements. Store in a cool, dry place with sealed lid. Shelf life: 12 months.
