Silicone Leveling Agent, Polyurethane Abrasion Resistance Agent, Leveling Agent for Polyurethane PU Coatings

This product effectively reduces the surface tension of the system, improving substrate wetting and leveling properties. It has good compatibility with polyurethane, no reactive groups, and is commonly used in topcoats for silicone synthetic leather to enhance leveling and anti-blocking performance, improve abrasion resistance of polyurethane synthetic leather, and provide considerable static control.

This product can be used in the manufacturing and processing of fibers and yarns. Main properties include lubrication, thermal stability, and static control.

In addition, this product can serve as the main raw material for waterborne defoamers and can be compounded with defoaming particles to prepare waterborne silicone defoamers.

Application Recommendations

  • Recommended dosage: 0.05-2% based on total formulation.

  • Addition method: Can be added at any stage of the production process. For ease of addition, dilute with a suitable solvent first.

  • Solvent types: Alcohols, esters, amides, and aromatics are all suitable.

Packaging and Storage

This product can be transported and stored as non-hazardous chemicals. Packaging specification: 25Kg plastic drum, or customized per customer requirements. Store in a cool, dry, sealed place. Shelf life: 12 months.
