Silicone Surfactant, Silicone Wetting Agent, Waterborne Coating Wetting Agent

This product has low viscosity and low surface tension, providing excellent spreading, wetting, and penetration properties. It is a new type of high-efficiency silicone additive.

Provides good spreadability and wetting on difficult-to-treat substrates, such as high-gloss packaging materials like polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester. Suitable for inks, decorative and industrial coatings for plastics, metals, and wood. Used as a wetting agent and adhesion promoter in waterborne, UV-curable, conventional solvent-based, and high-solids coatings; also improves flow and leveling, recoatability, and gloss retention.

Excellent compatibility, soluble in methanol, isopropanol, acetone, xylene, dichloromethane, etc., and dispersible in water.

Application Recommendations

• Recommended dosage: 0.1-1.0% based on total formulation

• Addition method: Add during grinding or stirring, or post-add after production. Dilute with appropriate solvent for ease.

• Solvent types: Water, alcohols, alkanes, aromatics can be diluted in any ratio.

Precautions

May have foam-stabilizing effect in waterborne systems. Consider BD-3281 with better foam-suppressing performance.

Taboos

Use caution when mixing with other auxiliaries. Below freezing point, may form emulsion turbidity, which recovers upon warming; for precision applications, retest suitability.

Packaging and Storage

Transported and stored as non-hazardous chemicals. Packaging: 25Kg/200Kg plastic drums, or customized. Store sealed in cool, dry place. Shelf life: 12 months.
