Silicone Leveling Agent, Water-based Polyurethane Coating Leveling Agent, Wetting and Leveling Agent

This product is a composite multifunctional wetting agent. Strongly reduces dynamic and static surface tension; improves substrate wetting, promotes spreading, resists oil stains, prevents cratering, improves leveling; excellent resin compatibility, suitable for water and oil systems, with certain defoaming properties; high efficiency. Very low addition amount yields excellent effects; it is a new type of high-efficiency silicone additive.

This product is suitable for decorative and industrial coatings on inks, plastics, metals, and wood. Used as a wetting agent and adhesion promoter in water-based, UV-curable, traditional solvent-based, and high-solids coatings, it also improves flow and leveling, recoatability, and gloss retention. Performs particularly well in water-based PU systems.

This product has good compatibility, is easily soluble in methanol, isopropanol, acetone, xylene, dichloromethane, etc., and can be dispersed in water.

Application Recommendations

• Recommended dosage: 0.1-1.0% based on total formulation

• Addition method: Can be added during grinding or stirring, or post-added after production. For ease of addition, pre-dilute with a suitable solvent.

• Solvent types: Water, alcohols, alkanes, aromatics can be diluted in any ratio.

• Adding co-solvents such as dipropylene glycol methyl ether enhances the effect.

Packaging and Storage

This product can be transported and stored as non-hazardous chemicals. Packaging: 25Kg plastic drums, 200Kg plastic drums, or customized per customer requirements. Store in a cool, dry place with sealed lid. Shelf life: 12 months.
