Two-component Addition-cure Liquid Silicone Rubber, High Elongation Silicone Rubber

Chemical Composition: Two-component liquid silicone rubber

Product Introduction and Core Advantages

BD-9015 is a high-performance two-component addition-cure liquid silicone rubber specifically developed for advanced applications requiring extreme flexibility and elasticity, such as artificial skin and flexible sensing. For high-end application scenarios such as artificial skin and flexible substrates, this product demonstrates irreplaceable advantages:

  • Ultra-high Dynamic Extensibility: It features a low modulus and extremely high elongation at break (≥1000%), capable of withstanding extreme levels of stretching and deformation without damage. It perfectly suits the dynamic stretching requirements of complex artificial skin or the bending needs of flexible devices.
  • Excellent Comprehensive Mechanical Strength: While maintaining high elasticity, it still retains high strength (Tensile ≥6MPa, Tear ≥20KN/m), ensuring the durability and tear-resistance life of the products.
  • High Transparency and Easy Processing: High transparency appearance, easy demolding after curing. Utilizing an environmentally friendly and non-toxic platinum curing system, it supports rapid curing at 100°C for 10 minutes.

Application Fields

  • Artificial Skin and Biomimetic Materials: High-simulation artificial skin, wrapping materials for large-deformation robots.
  • Flexible Electronics: Insulating substrates for flexible conductive materials and wearable sensors.
  • Medical and Specialty Manufacturing: Medical products, fine mold-making, high-performance fabric coatings.

Usage Instructions

  1. Mixing: A/B components can be mixed via mechanical stirring or using a static mixer.
  2. Curing Conditions: Curing can be performed within a temperature range of 40-150°C. Increasing the curing temperature can significantly shorten the curing time, but for thicker products, caution should be taken as rapid curing may lead to bubble formation.
  3. Inhibition Prevention: Clean equipment thoroughly before use. Substances containing tin salts, amines, or sulfur may inhibit the curing reaction (i.e., "silicone poisoning").
  4. Condition Testing: The performance of the product after curing depends on the curing conditions; it is recommended to conduct tests before full-scale use to find the optimal curing parameters.

Packaging and Storage
